Linear algebra is a csc course and usually taken as an elective but I don't remember it being a rec for ece. Also, my elective choices depended a lot on what I enjoyed in my 200 and 300 level classes. My first two semesters I took 109 and 200, and then 209, 211, 212, and 220. Jan 8, 2024 ยท Major topics of the course include complex numbers, real and complex functions, signal representation, elementary matrix algebra, solutions to linear systems of equations, linear differential equations, laplace transforms used for solving linear differential equations, fourier series and transforms and their uses in solving ECE problems. ECE 220-002, ECE 220-602 Analytical Foundations of Electrical and Computer Engineering Spring Major topics of the course include complex numbers, real and complex functions, signal representation, elementary matrix algebra, solutions to linear systems of equations, linear differential equations, laplace transforms used for solving linear differential equations, fourier series and transforms and their uses in solving ECE problems. It's the realm where the boundaries of possibility are constantly pushed, as engineers harness the power of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism to forge new pathways towards progress. In their final year, all Electrical Engineering majors participate in a two-semester senior design course sequence. Students work in teams to solve an engineering problem identified by faculty or industrial sponsors. NC State is consistently ranked in the top ECE programs in the United States. Central to the mission of NC State ECE is the preparation of graduates to meet the country’s need for advanced technical knowledge, equipped with the skills and ingenuity to advance society.
